Satellite GPS Saga
Tony believes his satellite GPS is a device that can track the satellites that are currently harming him. Although the device is designed for recreational purposes such as hiking, Tony frequently claims that the satellites displayed by the tracking feature are the specific satellites that are targeting and burning him, and he uploads pictures and videos of the display as evidence of this.[1]
Device Specifics
The GPS Tony uses is a Magellan eXplorist 100, an early recreational GPS device first released in 2004.[2] Since GPS tracking was still in its early stages at the time of the product's initial release, this GPS comes with a "Satellite Status screen" which graphically displays nearby GPS satellites and their respective signal strengths for users to gauge the accuracy of the device's readings.[3] Despite this, Tony believes that the assigned numbers of the satellites displayed indicate the branches of government and political families to which they belong. History of Tony's GPS
Tony claims to have purchased the device from a Sharper Image store while in California.[4] It is unknown how long Tony has owned the device, but since he claims to have purchased it from an electronics store, Tony could have easily owned it for more than ten years.
